Supporting the human experience of dying and grief
I support individuals and families navigating death, dying, grief, and loss with steady presence, compassionate care, and practical guidance. As a death doula, I provide end of life support and grief support to help people feel less alone during this time. I offer in-person sessions in Victoria, BC, and virtual support across Canada and the United States.
Thoughtful support through life’s final chapter
I offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and families navigating death, dying, and grief. I am passionate about supporting people through the experience of end of life care, helping create a sense of continuity during a time that can often feel uncertain or isolating. My background in leading experience teams shaped my approach to this work. I believe deeply in thoughtful support, steady presence, and ensuring no one feels they have to navigate this experience alone. Our time together is always guided by what you need, whether that is ongoing support or one meaningful conversation.
About Shannon Pintwala | Death Doula in Victoria, BC
I’m a mother of two, trained End-of-Life Doula, Director-At-Large with the BC Hospice and Palliative Care Association and a volunteer with BC Cancer.
I came to this work after the early passing of my father from a terminal illness. Witnessing his final months within the healthcare system motivated me to leave my career in the corporate world and dedicate myself to supporting others during life’s final chapter.
Today, I offer grief and caregiver support, end-of-life planning, and guidance for those navigating Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). I approach this work with compassion, respect, dignity, and clear communication—meeting you and your family wherever you are at.
It would be an honour to support you during this meaningful time.
